Please always remain vigilant when it comes to sending any personal communications via email or text. Every year we receive reports of members and leaders of our sport receiving phishing attempts both online and by phone. These are often communications disguised as being sent from USEA staff or other leaders. As the years go on, the phishing attempts appear to be more directed and tailored.

You should never receive an unexpected message from the USEA staff or leadership requesting funds, donations, gift cards, or personal information. If you ever receive a message like this, we recommend contacting the person who was “requesting” that information by phone using the USEA Directory. The USEA has made efforts to limit access to email addresses by removing all USEA leaders' emails from the USEA website, aside from USEA Staff. The USEA does not distribute or sell its member email or phone lists outside of the organization and takes strong precautions to safeguard member information.
