The only exclusive event stallion auction in the world is taking place right now at the Area II website. It's an online auction of donated eventing stallion services to benefit the Area II Young Riders program. The auction has garnered the donated services of such outstanding stallions as Consul (pictured left), sire of Rolex '08 third-placed horse Critical Decision; Salute The Truth, an Advanced Level Thoroughbred stallion standing in Maryland and noted sire of event horses; and a son of the great Cicera's Icewater, Cappucino Ice, whose fee comes with a free week of board for the mare. And many more stallions are listed, including ponies, warmbloods, and Thoroughbreds.
This is a breeder's chance to get a great bargain on a desirable stud fee, and contribute to Young Riders at the same time. Last year bids came in from around the world for the stallions!
