The highly anticipated Event at Rebecca Farm kicks off TODAY in Kalispell, Montana. It’s been called the field of dreams, and for many just getting to attend The Event at Rebecca Farm, and this year is extraordinary, as the Event is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

  • 549 riders will compete in 26 divisions across 10 levels.
  • Novice is the most popular level with 208 riders entered, while the CCI2*-L has the most entries across the FEI divisions.
  • The USEA Classic Series is always a competitor favorite at Rebecca Farm and this year is no different with 33 riders in the Training Three-Day and 26 in the Novice Three-Day.
  • The 2019 CCI4*-L winner Jennie Brannigan returns this year to defend her title, this time with Nina Gardner’s 11-year-old Thoroughbred gelding, Twilightslastgleam. 2019 CCI4*-S winners Sabrina Glaser and Remembrant will not.

  • Two horses are contesting their first CCI4*-L including Laguna Seca and Paperjam.
  • One horse, Flashback, is running in their first CCI4*-S.
  • $30,00 in prize money will be awarded in the CCI4*-L with another $17,000 given out across the other FEI divisions.
  • The show jumping courses will be designed by Chris Barnard and Marc Donovan.
  • Ian Stark is returning to design the FEI cross-country courses while Bert Wood will design the Intermediate and Preliminary and Marc Grandia and Adri Doyal will design the Training, Novice, and Beginner Novice.

  • A show of this size requires several officials including four technical delegates, seven FEI stewards, and two veterinarians. A full list can be found in the calendar listing.
  • Halt Cancer at X is an initiative founded by Rebecca Broussard’s daughter, Sarah Broussard, to raise money for breast cancer research. Donate by clicking here, and riders can participate in the Pledge Initiative.
  • 2021 will be the last year the Rebecca Broussard International and National Developing Riders’ Grants will be offered. Interviews for this year’s International and National Developing Rider’s Grants will be held at The Event at Rebecca Farm and will be limited to riders entered in both the CCI4*-L and the CCI4*-S. As of this date, 18 riders have benefited from these incredibly generous grants, and this year will see that number rise to 20.
  • The Art & Trade Fair at Rebecca Farm will feature over 50 vendors for your shopping pleasure, including numerous and varied food vendors to satisfy every appetite and a Kids Zone.
  • Admission to the event is free, although there is a suggested parking fee of $10 to support Halt Cancer at X. Dogs are welcome on a leash.
