The final horse inspection for the Ocala Jockey Club International Three-Day Event took place bright and early this morning with the CCI2*-L, CCI3*-L, and CCI4*-L all presenting for their respective ground juries.

The ground jury for the CCI2*-L, Peter Gray (CAN) and Nikki Herbert (GBR), sent Evita-Veron to the hold box and Kimberly Keeton chose to withdraw from there. Evita-Veron is a 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare (Veron x Tomlow) owned by Keeton and Hope Thomas who was sitting in 52nd place overnight.

Sara Kozumplik Murphy did not present Edith Rameika’s Delta Queen, a 10-year-old warmblood mare, so 64 horses will show jump this morning beginning at 9:30 a.m.

All 27 horses were presented and passed in the CCI3*-L for the ground jury of Christian Landolt (SUI), Helen Brettell (GBR), and Gretchen Butts (USA).

Nilson da Silva did not present Rock Phantom, the 8-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding (Spirit House x Ballycroy Rose) in the CCI4*-L. The rest of the division was accepted and 22 horses will move forward to show jump at 1:30 p.m.
