United States Eventing Association

The following competitions may be named as USEF Selection Trials for the 2022 FEI Eventing World Championship in Pratoni del Vivaro, Italy, which will take place September 14-18, 2022. The designation is subject to the final approval of the USEF Board of Directors.

The approved, final list of USEF Selection Trials will be published as part of the approved USEF Athlete Selection Procedures for the 2022 FEI Eventing World Championship - Pratoni del Vivaro (ITA). The Selection Procedures will be distributed via email and published on the USEF Eventing website once approved.

Additional USEF Selection Trials may be added. Other CCI4*-L competitions in Europe from April 21, 2021 to July 1, 2022 may be considered as USEF Selection Trials with approval of the USEF Eventing Selectors and the USEF Eventing Sport Committee. An athlete must make the request in writing to the USEF Managing Director of Eventing no less than 30 days prior to the start of the competition for consideration by the Eventing Selectors and the Eventing Sport Committee or an Ad Hoc Group approved by the Eventing Sport Committee.

The 2022 FEI Eventing World Championship selection process will be similar to the process used for the 2020 Olympic Games.
